I'm going to Gaza!
In a few days I'll be setting out from central Portugal on a solo pilgrimage to Palestine. Because enough is already way too much - the "global community" talking shops have already failed!
Initially I thought to organise a “million-man” march (as per the title of this substack) but the logistics of such an undertaking, coupled with the very real danger of infiltration (not to mention my own trepidation) gave me, as it turned out, vital pause.
My beloved dog, Amy, suddenly lost the used of her legs following what we think was a stroke, and for the four weeks she remained with us after that she needed me here and, it turned out, I needed the time for my initial idea to germinate into a workable plan. - For four weeks there has been little on my mind or in my heart but Amy and the unspeakable, sadistic, psychopathic blood-bath being commited against the long-suffering people of Palestine at the hands of what declares itself to be the “nation state of the Jewish people”. - If “israel” truly reflects what it means to be Jewish (and a glance at the history books, as well as their “holy scriptures” suggests that it is) then label me a proud anti-Semite!
So, who am I to be taking on this divinely inspired pilgrimage of peace and love, to return some sanity to an increasingly insane world, and to facilitate the movement of aid, food, medicines into Gaza, if at all I can? I am the living woman called by the utterance “kali prajita”, I recognise no authority but God and my own conscience, and I am free in body, mind and spirit, to answer this call.
Although my internet activities have been somewhat obscured by the passage of time as I undertook to free myself from the system, especially from the controlling grip of the “economy-stupid”, I have managed to maintain a presence through my commenting on Ron Unz’s “Unz Review” website, where I’m known simply as Kali. Apparently my old “Kali Prajita” Facebook account, which I was hacked out of, is still live.
In previous times I’ve been called variously Karen Lucas, Kazz Lucas, Kazz67, Auntie Kazz and just plain Karen. My middle name, as it appears on my birth certificate, is Lesley.
With the above information it should be possible to learn just about all there is to know about me, including my activism, my influences, my drives, my passions and even my current location.
Additionally, myself and my husband, Prajna, have a website at tomboy-pink.co.uk which includes our “camp autolift” blog and our “tomboy-pink” blog, amongst other things. Please forgive the state of the place; we’ve not updated it in any serious way for many years.
OK, so my plan is to set out in a week or so, taking with me just the provisions I need: food, rocket-stove, bedding, tent, etc, along with my phone and a solar-charger. I will not be taking either my (UK) passport -the last remnant of any residual contract between myself and that unconscionable entity- nor any money. I’ve not operated a bank account for at least a decade, so nore will I be taking any means to withdraw money.
My hope is that, as I make my way through Spain, Morocco, Algeria, Libia and Egypt, an army of independent journalists, bloggers and vloggers will follow and report my progress. Because it is you who will provide me with the protection of publicity. - As a lone 56 year old female, I need you to help keep me safe, whilst reporting on my reasons for undertaking this epic Pilgrimage to free and relieve our brothers and sisters, not to mention the bombarded and starving children of Gaza!
Although I won't be in a position to carry with me food or other aid items that supporters may wish to donate to help those beautiful and brave people, nor will I accept any monetary donations, I will be happy to carry any tokens (flags, ribbons or what-have-you) of your love and support.
I plan to upload a short video in the next few days. I hope that you will subscribe to this channel and watch out for it.
Thank you for reading!
All my love,
Kali.
