How many lists are you boys and girls compiling anyway? -Oh wait, no. Those are just substack subscriber lists aren’t they? Of course they are.
Do ya like our flag?
I hope the boys in the military helicopter that just circled our place (the walls shook) for about ten minutes like it.
I was inboxed or DMed, or whatever, last night by one of the list people, a very lovely lady (I presume ‘lady’) with a sunflower avatar. She complimented my flag. I complimented her sunflower. I mentioned that we fly that flag on our mountain.
Worryingly, I’m given to understand that support for Palestine is “anti-Semitic”, and in the process of being rendered hatefully criminal by the controllers of the western, liberally democratic, establishment. - Would one be forgiven, do you imagine, for wondering if those controllers might be somewhat Semitic or Semite adjacent?
Earlier today I read Caitlin Jonstone’s piece about the upcoming Oscars, and the potential platform they could provide for brave celebrities to give voice to Palestine support. But surely such demonstrations might make Jewish (because ‘israel’ is the ‘jewish state) audience members feel… something..?.. ah, uncomfortable, that’s the word I was looking for. And therefore would not speaking up for Palestine in such a venue be hatefully anti-Semitic? Surely that would be the establishment media take.
I like Caitlin. I read her a lot. But I’m concerned by her (and others) “everybody knows” acceptance of an historic narrative, and insistence that we not question the veracity of that narrative, lest we stir up claims that we, who oppose the systematic mass-murder of the Palestinian people and the wholesale destruction of their homes and hospitals, are anti-Semites.
That the term “Holocaust denier*” has been coined and weaponised, to shut down discussion or enquiry into the matter, and to marginalise anyone who has enquired, should be obvious. Yet so many otherwise great journalists and reporters continue their “liberal" use of the “denier” slur against us.
To be fair, in her piece, Caitlin is making the point that any media attention given to lambasting “Holocaust deniers”, though assuredly not examining the purported evidence of the Holocaust itself, would distract from the ongoing, brutal slaughter, starvation and psychological torture of the people of Gaza. And maybe there is a point to argue here.
But it it could also be argued that discussion if the Holocaust, particularly it's “denial” may send millions off in search of the truth, or the (remarkably flimsy) proof of it. Thereby the foundation which supports the the imposition of the Jewish state on mandate Palestine, the narrative spun to lend it's existence legitimacy, would be undone, and our Palestinian brothers and sisters could return home from their 75 year exile to rebuild their lives and rebuild Gaza.
The hegemonic rule of the US (and therefore the Jewish state) is collapsing. A collapse that is set to accelerate, as the Global South makes ready to fill the power vacuum. As our culture degrades. As our wealth and resources are stuffed into the pockets of kleptocrats and their Semitic or Semite adjacent controllers, and assorted avaricious psychopaths.
So maybe now is the right time to disarm the denier-bomb and seek the truth, the proof, of the Jewish Holocaust for ourselves.
Here’s a link to Caitlin’s article which I hope you read.
Over coming days and weeks I’ll post links to relevant articles in the comments for any who would like to dig deeper into the historiography of the Jewish Holocaust. I’m by no means an expert on the subject, but I can at least point the way to some who are.
Thank you for reading.
With love,
Kali.
